I need a structural engineer who can take our proprietary, factory-made I-Joists and turn them into fully certified solutions for Australian residential projects. Every design must satisfy AS/NZS 1170 – Structural Design Actions, and the final documentation has to stand up to building surveyor scrutiny right across the country. You will receive the original manufacturers’ test reports along with all relevant spans, loads and floor plans for each job. From there, I’m expecting you to size the members, produce the layout drawings, run the calculations and issue the engineering certificate so my builders can order and install without delays.
