I have a Cube+ running Ardupilot on a small marine platform and all of the hardware—autopilot, power rails, laptop with Mission Planner, and the custom PWM-driven servos—is already wired and bench-tested. The remaining work is strictly on the software side: Mission Planner and Ardupilot parameters must be tuned so the Cube+ drives each servo correctly, and a few bespoke servo behaviours need to be scripted. What’s needed • Configure all relevant Mission Planner and Ardupilot settings so the servos arm safely, respond to commands, and survive power-cycle tests. • Program the custom servo functions (Lua scripting or equivalent) that translate navigation commands into the exact control movements we require. • Validate everything first on the bench, then on-water here in Seattle. This wraps when each servo tracks its programmed logic, Mission Planner shows a clean status screen, and I have the final .param file plus the script with a short usage note.
