We are an established industrial manufacturing firm seeking an experienced Electronics and Embedded Systems Engineer to design and program a microcontroller-based control system for an electronic control panel. The system will govern critical machine operations and must be robust, reliable, and designed for an industrial environment. Core Technical Requirements: Microcontroller (MCU): [Specify preferred MCU if you have one, e.g., PIC, STM32, Arduino/AVR, ESP32] or recommend the best fit for industrial stability. Inputs/Interrupts: The system requires 5 distinct hardware interrupts. Logic Levels: The input signals will be coming from standard industrial peripherals (limit switches, thermostats, proximity sensors, etc.) operating at 12V or 0V. The hardware design must include proper opto-isolation or level-shifting to safely interface these 12V signals with the MCU's logic level (3.3V/5V) without noise or voltage spikes. Key Deliverables: Component Selection & Schematic Design: Complete circuit schematic, ensuring proper power electronics design (noise filtering, decoupling, and reverse polarity protection). PCB Layout: Gerber files ready for manufacturing. Firmware/Microcontroller Programming: Clean, well-commented, and efficient C/C++ code. The interrupt service routines (ISRs) must be optimized for seamless, non-blocking execution. Documentation: A brief wiring guide and functional logic document.
