Hi, I am an embedded systems engineer with over 16 years of experience building microcontroller-based prototypes and consumer-grade embedded products. I have hands-on experience with Arduino, ESP32/STM32, RFID readers/tags, C/C++ firmware, and peripherals over SPI, I2C, UART and serial links. I can help you design and bring up the RFID prototype, write reliable firmware, integrate any required sensors or communication modules, and troubleshoot the hardware/firmware together until the system is stable. I have worked on similar access control, tracking and IoT-style embedded systems where RFID reads, tag validation, logging and external device communication had to work reliably in real conditions. Relevant project details and examples cannot be shared publicly due to client confidentiality, but I can discuss similar work privately. A few useful questions: which RFID reader/module and tag type are you planning to use, and should the prototype log data locally, send it over WiFi/Bluetooth, or connect to another controller/server? Please contact me to discuss details.

Most RFID prototype failures come down to poor tag-read reliability under real-world interference and firmware that can't gracefully recover mid-read — not the wiring. That's the layer I'd focus on first, alongside solid SPI/I2C/UART handling between the reader and your microcontroller. Why me? - 5+ years building embedded systems across ESP32, STM32, and Arduino platforms with SPI, I2C, and UART peripheral integration. - Delivered embedded projects for clients across multiple countries, from prototype to production firmware. - Comfortable debugging both hardware and firmware issues without needing a hardware-firmware handoff. - Daily progress updates so you always know exactly where the prototype stands. - Two weeks of free post-project support included after delivery. Happy to jump on a short call to walk through your read-range and integration requirements.

Hi, Before starting, I would first clarify the RFID reader/module, supported tag type/frequency, required read distance, number of tags/users, communication interface, power source, and whether the system is for access control, asset tracking, inventory, or another workflow. The main challenges are usually stable tag detection, avoiding duplicate reads, handling noisy environments, clean serial/SPI/I2C communication, and reliable firmware behavior during long operation. I have strong experience with Arduino-based embedded systems using C/C++, including RFID reader integration, sensors, UART, SPI, I2C, ESP32, STM32, prototyping, and hardware/firmware debugging. I can develop the firmware, integrate the RFID module, manage tag reading and ID processing, add logic for access/control or tracking, and provide a clean prototype that is easy to test and expand. Final deliverables can include working Arduino firmware, wiring/interface documentation, setup instructions, test procedure, and debugging support for your hardware. Regards,

Greetings, I recently worked on a small embedded prototype where a microcontroller had to read external modules over SPI and UART, then make stable decisions from noisy input data. It was not an RFID job, but the same kind of work was needed: C/C++ firmware, sensor/module integration, and hardware debugging when the board did not behave as expected. For this RFID prototype, I think the main challenge will be making the reader and tags work reliably in the real use case, not only on the bench. I would first build a simple demo that reads tags, logs the tag ID, and shows the basic action flow; for a normal Arduino or ESP32 setup, I can usually prepare the first demo in about 2–4 days after the parts and requirements are clear. A few things I would like to confirm are the RFID reader model, tag type, and what action should happen after a tag is detected. Best, Oleksandr

Hi, I have over 10 years of embedded systems experience, developing 40+ Arduino, ESP32, and STM32 prototypes including RFID access control, industrial IoT, sensor networks, and serial communication systems using SPI, I2C, UART, and RS-485. I have designed production-ready hardware, developed embedded C/C++ firmware, and validated complete hardware-software integration from prototype through functional testing and debugging. Approach ✅ I will review the RFID workflow, select the optimal reader/tag technology, define the communication architecture, and verify hardware compatibility with the target Arduino platform. ✅ I will develop modular C/C++ firmware integrating RFID, sensors, and peripheral interfaces with robust error handling, state-machine logic, and efficient serial communication. ✅ I will validate hardware and firmware through functional, timing, and communication testing while optimizing reliability, response time, and debugging procedures. ✅ I will deliver documented source code, wiring diagrams, and recommendations for future expansion to ESP32, STM32, or IoT-based applications. Questions ✅ Which RFID technology and reader module do you plan to use (LF, HF/NFC, or UHF), and is the hardware already selected? ✅ Will the prototype require local data storage only, or should it communicate with an external PC, database, or cloud platform? Best, Yaroslav

Hi, The biggest risk in this project is not connecting an RFID reader to an Arduino—it is ensuring reliable tag detection, stable communication between peripherals, and robust embedded software that performs consistently under real-world operating conditions without hardware or timing issues. I have 30 years of experience in Arduino development, RFID integration, serial communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART), sensor interfacing, and embedded Linux/IoT system development. For this project, I would focus on: 1. Building a reliable RFID communication pipeline with fast and accurate tag detection. 2. Developing well-structured, efficient embedded hardware with robust error handling and peripheral integration. 3. Testing and optimizing the complete hardware system to ensure stable long-term operation and easy scalability. The goal is to build a dependable Arduino-based RFID prototype that delivers accurate tag reading, reliable hardware communication, and maintainable embedded hardware for future expansion. A couple of questions: ✅Which RFID reader and tags will you be using? ✅Which Arduino or microcontroller do you prefer? ✅Are there any sensors or peripherals that need to be integrated? If you message me, I can outline the most practical hardware architecture for a reliable RFID and Arduino prototype. Best regards, Prat PCB Must Innovations

Hey, RFID plus arduino/esp32 prototyping is stuff I do pretty regularly, so this reads like a normal week for me Quick heads up since it trips a lot of people up - if the RFID boards you're using are the cheap ones off amazon or aliexpress, a good chunk of them have dodgy chips or bad caps, so first thing I do is run a quick diagnostic to confirm the SPI comms are actually clean before building the real logic on top. Also worth knowing the old MFRC522 library is basically abandoned now, I build on the newer maintained one instead, just flag it if you needed DESFire or card emulation since that one doesn't cover those Past builds along these lines - access control setups where a tag scan trips a relay or door strike, asset tracking rigs logging reads back to a database, inventory counters, and general firmware work on esp32/stm32 with i2c and uart sensors mixed in. Comfortable owning the whole thing end to end, wiring, firmware, and chasing down flaky reads until it's solid in the real environment, not just on the bench Send over what hardware you've already got, or if it's still open I'll pick something sensible and get moving
