I'm in need of an Electronics Engineer with a strong focus on power electronics, specifically in AC to DC conversion (SMPS). The primary purpose of this project is to develop a snubber and RCD clamping circuit for the MOSFET situated on the primary (hot) side of a pre-existing transformer in my SMPS. The input is 100 VAC - 260 VAC converting to 24 VDC at 4A. Current Issue: - The main challenge I'm facing is voltage spikes that are causing the MOSFET to fail. I have a good experience with application of control techniques and automation strategies in matlab/Simulink, LABVIEW, GMWIN and PLCs along with in-depth knowledge of electronics, sensors and instrumentation etc. I am also supervising a project on the Design and implementation of environmental control system for poultry farms using PLC. I have good idea about wiring diagrams for the different circuits and equipment and how to read and implement wiring diagrams. Types and uses of circuit breakers, relays, safety and timer based operation like bottle filling, conveyor belt, feedstock are also known to me. I am also conducting lab for this course, which covers ladder diagram programming and is implemented on ED-4260 PLC Trainer. The PLC is GLOFA GM-4 and the software used to program it is GMWIN.
