Who can help me to fix an error which I am getting reading a serial monitor string and split it.
This is an example of the input a120, b300, c,1000, d1200,
In my script it already is possible to split a normal sting ( StringToParse) , but I want it to get the input (StringToParse =incoming_serial;) from serial monitor . If I use that I get the error "cannot convert 'String' to 'char*' in assignment" . who can fix this error?
I need someone who has experience with arduino programming specific.

Hi, [login to view URL]() reads only a single character at time. It is necessary to convert it to complete string after line break is received. I can fix this code for you. Best regards, let me know any questions.

Hi, I've checked your program and there is a problem with your split_message() and print_message() functions. Also they will change StringToParse after using it first time. I can fix it and send you the clean code.
