Raspberry Pi code to fast count objects with cameras

We are looking to create a counting system using cameras with a Raspberry Pi. This should have the possibility to change the objects shapes to count and the dimensions using a setup screen. It will have one or more cameras to count at the same time. This interface will have a place to calibrate/adjust/setup the cameras. Also will have to work really fast as objects are falling passing in front of the cameras. Can count objects as small as a ball of a bearing and as large as a coin but need to have an interface to adjust the threshold as how big and how small you want the object. Also we want the system to have a setup page for different I/O for setup.
