I work as a "help desk" expert for an online company. Customers submit questions through various links and they go to the company and are posted for experts to view. I currently have to refresh my browser over and over until new questions come in. When a new question is posted, the first expert to click on the question gets an exclusive lock on the question. They can either answer it or release it.
What I'm looking for is an add-on (I usually use Firefox) or an executable program that will refresh the browser, look for new questions (they are in bold face when they come in until I look at them, once I have reviewed them, they are no longer bold face...this may help you), if it sees a new question, I want it to select it (double-click it), and lock the question. If a new question is not present, I want it to refresh the browser immediately and go through the steps again until it sees another new question.
This is going to be used on the same site every day. If possible, I want to activate it on a browser window, minimize it, and be able to use another browser window without it affecting the browser window I am performing other tasks on.
I would like to meet with whomever wins the bid to show them the site and answer any questions they may have. I will travel if necessary or reimburse for travel to meet me. For this reason I would like the bidder to be located in the Baltimore/DC area or within approximately 100 miles of Baltimore or DC.
If you believe you can complete this job by using just the saved html copy of the site, you do not have to travel or meet me in person. If you believe you can complete this job by using just the saved html copy of the site, you do not have to travel or meet me in person.
