My small home studio has turned into a tangle of power and audio leads running from a mixed-media setup—audio interfaces, a digital piano/monitor, Xbox and MIDI keyboard—all crammed beside my desk. With two curious cats that love to chew anything dangling, I need every single run concealed and protected. I’m leaning toward a purpose-built cable management system rather than opening the walls. All wiring should finish tucked neatly under the desk, routed through trays, raceways or similar hardware that keeps nothing accessible to paws or teeth. Wherever a cord must drop to floor level, please propose a solution that stays flush against furniture or baseboard so it still reads as “wireless” at first glance. Key goals • Map and re-route every existing lead for power, audio, video and data. • Supply and install under-desk trays, channels or grommets sized to my current and future gear list. • Label both ends of each cable so swapping equipment is painless. • Leave the studio spotless—no loose offcuts or debris once the job is done. I have basic tools on hand, but expect you to bring any specialized cutters, raceways, adhesive mounts, screws or velcro ties you trust for a permanent, cat-proof fit. If you’ve handled studio builds or similar pet-safe setups before, let me know what products you prefer and share a quick outline of your plan. Photos of previous tidy-up jobs are a plus. Looking forward to finally seeing a clean desk—and keeping the cats safe.

----------------------- ✅ Ready to jump in and get this done the right way—clean, fast, and reliable. ✅ ----------------------- I understand you’re looking for a clean way to hide and organize home cables without leaving visible wires running across walls, floors, or around furniture. I can develop a practical cable-management layout based on your existing rooms, electrical outlets, TVs, networking equipment, speakers, workstations, and other devices. The design can include concealed wall routes, conduits, raceways, floor/wall penetrations, access points, and serviceable paths so cables remain hidden while still being accessible when changes are needed. The goal will be a solution that looks clean after installation while remaining safe, maintainable, and realistic for the existing house. Please send the floor plan, photos of the rooms/walls, and a list of the devices you want connected. I can review the existing conditions and develop the most practical routing approach.

I can turn your home studio into a clean, fully concealed and cat-safe cable setup without opening the walls. I’ll map every power, audio, video and MIDI/data lead first, then design the routing around your current equipment and leave capacity for future additions. My approach would be to install sturdy under-desk cable trays, adhesive/screw-mounted raceways, grommets and low-profile cable channels where appropriate. Any cable dropping toward the floor will be routed tightly against the desk, furniture or baseboard so it remains discreet and inaccessible to curious cats. I’ll also separate power and signal cables where practical to minimize audio interference. Every cable will be neatly bundled and labeled at both ends, with enough service slack to make future equipment changes easy. I’ll bring the specialist cutters, mounts, fasteners and quality Velcro/cable-management hardware required for a secure, professional installation. Once everything is routed and tested, I’ll remove all offcuts, packaging and debris and leave the studio completely clean. I’m comfortable working around audio equipment and understand the importance of both cable protection and keeping signal/power runs organized. If you can provide a few photos of the desk, equipment and current cable layout, I can suggest the exact routing and hardware before starting.
