I would like to build a lighting and camera rig for photometrics. The system would be required to remotely activate a series of approximately 40 LED lights, release shutters on approximately 100 cameras simultaneously, deactivate the lights and then activate a different series of 40 lights, then release camera shutters again.
The end goal is to be able to capture 100 images of the subject in one lighting scenario, then another 100 images in the second lighting scenario as quickly as possible. The system has to controlled from a PC and have very low latency.
Ideally I would like to be able to program the durations, activation times, shutter speeds etc. The more versatility the better.
At this stage I am just looking for consulting to give me some ideas as to how this might be best achieved, and to point me in the right direction for getting started.
