My company has a project of a control box for our CNC. We'd like to use this USB controller ( [url removed, login to view]) but with our own drivers (2.5A to 3A), Jogging board interface (for the jogging mode of the CNC), SD card adapter, and optocoupler.
The job is the engineering, pcb design, creation and optimization of BOM (Bill of Materials) of 6 boards based on a set of examples that will be shipped to the freelance:
1- Panel Board (interface to connect drivers to motors)
2 - Jogging keyboard with potentiometer (to control the jogging of the CNC)
3 - Output board (3 optoisolated relays for output like spindle or fan)
4- Adapter for MPG Pendant
5- Adapter for SD Card
6- Adapter with Optocoupler
All the original boards are shown, prior to acceptance of the mission, to the freelance.
We expect delivery of:
- PCB Design for the attached (schematics, board design, pdf, Gerber files)
- Optimized Bill of Materials for each PCB, for a reduction of production costs while matching or improving the performance and reliability of the boards sent by the buyer as example
- All source files
- At least one quotation for samples and then per hundred units (by PCB) from a trusted and efficient supplier the freelancer knows.
Compatibility with the motherboard USB CNC Controller MK3 and the software "CNC USB Controller", from [url removed, login to view] is mandatory.
We would still buy their own CNC USB Controller and licence for the soft, but we want to manufacture our own peripherals and controller box.
