Hey, what you described is actually quite close to how I like to learn and explain Science myself. I'm currently an undergraduate student, and I often explain Science topics to my classmates. Since I'm also a student myself, I know that sometimes a topic becomes much easier when someone explains it in a simple, relatable way rather than just reading from a textbook. I think that can work especially well with a younger learner. My approach would be to first understand what you already know, explain the concept step-by-step using simple examples and diagrams, then work through questions together. I'd also use short quizzes and small challenges to keep the lessons interactive and check your understanding. I can teach through Google Meet/Zoom and use a digital whiteboard or screen sharing. I may not always have specialised visual or practical resources, but whenever possible, I can sur simple and safe activities or experiments you can try at home.
