Hello, I would be glad to support your seven-week online summer speaking programme for Omani teenagers in Grades 10–12. My strength is helping learners communicate with clarity, confidence, and structure. I bring online tutoring, classroom teaching, and professional communication experience. I have taught college students in Canada, including newcomers from India, in work-placement courses such as Accounting and Payroll. This gave me practical experience supporting non-native English speakers where confidence, clarity, and real-world communication were important. I also bring strong communication training experience through Toastmasters, where I have served as a leadership coach, meeting evaluator, and speaker evaluator. I can blend your CLT-based curriculum with simple Toastmasters-style speaking activities, so students are not only learning English, but also practising pronunciation, fluency, short responses, storytelling, and basic public speaking with confidence. Beyond teaching, I have worked extensively as a remote consultant and project manager, facilitating meetings, conducting interviews, guiding discussions, and helping people communicate clearly. I am comfortable with Zoom, breakout rooms, Google Classroom, speaking activities, correction prompts, and short progress updates after each class. My background includes lesson planning, teacher mentoring, textbook editing, student assessment, and delivering engaging, learner-centred lessons based on communicative teaching principles. As a native English speaker with a clear British English accent, I place strong emphasis on pronunciation, fluency, confidence building, and natural communication. I create supportive, interactive lessons where students actively participate through discussions, role-plays, presentations, and real-life speaking activities rather than simply memorising grammar. I am experienced with Zoom, Google Classroom, online assessments, breakout rooms, and providing constructive feedback. I also understand the importance of regular progress reports and maintaining close communication with parents to support student development.
