I have another project in the pipeline, if you have time, I will be happy if you accept. I have 10 scans of coin images with approximately 30-40 images per sheet. The 10 sheets are actually obverse and reverse scans of 5 coin batches. The objective is to split (cut/paste) the sheets into individual coin images where the obverse / reverse are combined on one image. This is pretty much similar to what you have done before, only this time, I don't need separate images of obverse/reverse or background transparency. It is more of a mechanical task of copying an obverse from one sheet and reverse from the pair one and pasting the two one photo, so that in the end it will look like:
The 5 sheet pairs are names accoordingly, the coins are not always flipped the right way, but as a rule of thumb, reverse has the value, obverse has the coat-of-arms. I would like to final image to have reverse on the left, obverse on the right.
As a final product, I expect this would yield approx. 5x35=175 or so individual coin images. The file naming is not crucial, you can simply use sequential numbering 1, 2, 3.... The format must be PNG (transparency not needed).
Can you, please, let me know if you are interested and, if agree with the proposed budget?
Thanks in advance, Alex
The files are pretty big (about 50 mb each), but I will try to upload an example pair to the former dropbox space.
