phase one: two big drones (ie tarot960) are connected to each end of a 5m long tube.
they need to move with the tube perpendicular to the path.
hoover 1m above ground at a constant speed of 15km/h.
use stress sensors at each of the two suspension points to avoid stressing the tube.
the stress data needs to overwrite the "normal" drone commands.
the payload of ca 15kg will be evenly distributed onto the tube.
the payload consists of two cable loops collecting electromagnetic data that need to be coordinated with the drone´s position.
program the drone coordination that overwrites the internal drone control to a certain extent.
store the incoming cable data with actual drone position.
use lidar & rangefinder & rtk gps & pixhawk & minicam (a pic for every alarm signal coming from the coil)
build up the two drone kits, install stress sensors, show data read/write.
next step (phase2 in 2020) would be a larger drone system with gas generator for longer flight time.
phase one needs to be finished end october 2019.
