I need a SharePoint form created in InfoPath that can query and display results of a second list when the second list field meets a certain criteria entered in the form. The list items that meet the criteria will also need to have several fields updated from within the form using workflow.
This is a vanilla SharePoint 2010 Enterprise server with Infopath 2010 form server. No add-ons can be used.
List 1 Item is created and a Ticket number is entered in one of the fields. The form will query List 2 for the same ticket number contained in one of the fields. The form will display a total number of list 2 items found. Changing a certain field in list 1 form will set field value of all matching list 2 items. It would be great to also see several field values of the results from List 2 inside the List 1 Form.
I'm sure something like this has already been created as many people attempt a work-around for SharePoints' inability to work this way. If you have examples of something similar please list it in your bid.
I do not have DEV server and can not use infopath.
