Migrating to DBaaS

As you want to maintain your database in cloud my suggestion is to use AZURE or AWS(Amazon Web Services). We will have to look at the code/database to confirm which one will be better Azure or AWS. Using Azure we can Take advantage of SQL Database endpoints for transaction replication allows applications to function seamlessly and Easily replicate data among multiple SQL Databases to enable isolation of mission-critical workloads from longer running analytics queries. By using Azure Data Sync and transactional replication, developers will be able to modernize applications in a tiered approach from on-premises to hybrid and move fully to the cloud. Already I migrate one of my project databases in Azure. By using this my system initiated automatic backups every day. I attached my project here Please have a look-https://www.host-party.com. For security purpose, I use AWS which has KMS for the single encryption key for all the sensitive data for all tenants. Using KMS I put a tenantId which will help with data isolation. Now the actual data linked to tenantId can be encrypted based on a key stored in KMS. Due to this if the user has authenticated using their password (or SSO), based on their permissions, they have access to some resources. I used Azure Cloud as a VM target used as the target for backing up virtual machines so data will be secure. Ping me for discussion.
