The scope of this job is to build a small .NET 7 Web API solution containing four to six independent tasks, each centred on integrating our platform with external services. For every task I will provide the target service’s documentation, authentication details, and the exact data contracts I need exchanged; your job is to translate those requirements into clean, well-structured endpoints. Architecturally, the solution should follow standard ASP.NET Core conventions, use dependency injection throughout, and keep configuration (keys, tokens, base URLs) in appsettings with sensible options for environment overrides. Because these calls will run in a high-throughput middleware layer, I need concise, async-friendly code and solid error handling—retry logic, circuit breakers or Polly policies where appropriate. Deliverables • A Visual Studio solution with 4-6 controllers (or minimal-API handlers) implementing the specified integrations • OpenAPI/Swagger documentation generated via Swashbuckle so I can test every call quickly • Lightweight unit tests demonstrating at least success and failure paths for each endpoint • A brief README explaining setup, environment variables, and how to extend the project for future integrations Acceptance criteria: every endpoint must compile, run, and reach the external service in my staging environment returning the expected payload; code is formatted, commented, and free of hard-coded secrets.
