Handwriting OCR fails in a particular way - it produces a real, plausible word instead of the right one, so a spell-check sails straight past it and the error survives into your finished PDF. On neat, legible pages manual typing is barely slower and does not make that class of mistake. What you get back: - A clean PDF with every word, punctuation mark and line break matching the page. - No stray artifacts, because nothing is being recognised in the first place. - A spell-check pass, with genuine source oddities left alone and flagged to you rather than quietly altered. - The editable Word file alongside the PDF at no extra cost, in case you want to change anything later.
