Hello, You haven't specified your current knowledge of DNS, but here's how I would explain BIND9 DNS for Ubuntu Server: 1 - What DNS does, and how it does it 2 - Pre-configurations 3 - The files to be configured and their purpose as we go. 4 - Show the types of records you can have. 5 - Create forward and reverse lookup zones what they are doing 6 - edit DNS settings 7 - Testing with commands resolution, forwarders, etc. I hope this is what you are looking for. I will show and explain a working example of a domain zone, of course with basic "A", "CNAME" parameters, also (if you want) another records ("TXT") that are used when you set up mail servers and DKIM signatures. I will also explain settings in named.conf. And (if you want) how to configure Bind to give different zone files to different networks (like 1 zone for local network, another for outer world).
