Questions: 1) Which tradition should the ornament reference (e.g., Baroque acanthus, Neoclassical egg-and-dart, laurel wreath, cartouche), and do you want any inscription/crest? Target size, thickness, and the wall color/lighting where it will hang? 2) Preferred build: cold-cast bronze (resin + bronze powder), CNC-routed MDF with metallic finish, or 3D print + coating? Any weight limit, budget range, and patina preference (warm brown, statuary, light verdigris)? Suggestions: 1) Use a bas-relief of 1.8–2.5 mm with 30–45° drafts, 0.3 mm micro-chamfers, a beaded border, and a lightly textured ground for shadow contrast. If cold-cast, load 60–70% 200‑mesh bronze powder by weight for real metal burnish; finish with umber/ivory-black wash, selective rub-back on highs, then microcrystalline wax. 2) Integrate keyhole slots or a mini French cleat plus 6–8 mm standoffs to “float” the plaque. Seal all faces/edges to prevent warp; use a moisture-stable core. Target <2 kg at ~300×400 mm. Deliverables: vector ornament map, clean STL/STEP, patina/paint schedule with swatches, and a 1:1 mounting template.
