BCE requires a Delphi database system which can operate on a standalone system as well as have web integration options available. The system needs to keep track of individual items on an inventory and show inspection history of these items. It needs to be able to generate alerts for upcoming inspections on items as well as the ability to add/delete/update items.
The database needs to be set up so it has different levels of access for BCE and BCE’s clients that it offers the database to. It needs to have an expiry option so that the end user will be locked out after a certain period if they fail to continue to employ the services of BCE.
It needs to have an easy to use interface for people who only have basic computer skills.
It needs to be able to have report generator that runs on different queries that are selected.
The timeframe for this project is completion by the end of August 2006.
