I need assistance with debugging existing code for an ESP32-based weather station. The code is written in C++. The main issue I am encountering is compilation errors. I am looking for someone proficient in Arduino IDE, ESP32 programming to help resolve these issues and ensure the code compiles successfully. A link to the project and code.... [login to view URL] I already have the hardware, but my coding experience is zero. I am computer literate and have been trying for over 2 weeks to get the code to compile successfully in Arduino IDE, but I keep getting errors. I have reached out to the original coder and the Arduino community via chats and forums to no avail. I understand the basics of Arduino IDE, but I am lost in the code, doesn't help being dyslexic either. I have completed a few, simpler ESP32 projects in the past, but this one has beaten me.

I’ve spent over a decade debugging embedded firmware, and weather station code on ESP32 is a problem I’ve solved many times. I know exactly where sensor noise, I2C timing, or WiFi reconnect loops cause instability, and I can fix your code without rewriting everything. I’ve shipped production IoT products across multiple industries, so I’m comfortable isolating hardware versus firmware issues quickly. Your budget works for a focused debug session — I’ll identify the root cause, apply the fix, and confirm stable operation. Let me know if you want to share the code and a brief description of the symptoms you’re seeing.

ESP32 debugging usually comes down to serial monitor output and tracking down where the sensor readings or connectivity go wrong. If you share the code and describe what it is actually doing versus what you expect, I can likely pinpoint the issue fast. Can start today and have a fix ready within 24 hours. The bid reflects the description as written. Final number depends on how deep the issue runs once I look at the code. Want to share it so we can get started?

Hello I can handle the debugging for your Weather Dashboard project and get it compiling smoothly for you. For the technical solution, I will look through the project code to pinpoint exactly where the compiler is breaking. Most compilation issues for this specific project stem from mismatched library versions (like PNGdec, LovyanGFX, or ArduinoJson) or incorrect Arduino IDE Board Manager settings for the ESP32-S3 Dev Module. I will fix the header mismatches, outline the precise library versions required, and set up a clear, step-by-step configuration guide for your IDE options, like USB CDC On Boot and Flash Size. I have extensive experience with C++, the Arduino IDE, and complex ESP32 implementations, and I am ready to start working on this immediately. We can resolve this easily over a quick chat or screen share. cheers Nehal

Hi, I’d be happy to help. Most ESP32 compilation problems come down to library versions, missing dependencies, board settings, or changes in the ESP32 framework over time. I can review the project, reproduce the errors, and work through them until the code compiles correctly in Arduino IDE. Once I see the current error output, I should be able to pinpoint the issue fairly quickly. Kindly contact me for further discussion.

I came across your weather station project and it immediately caught my attention. I’ve been working with ESP32 and sensor integration for six years, and I genuinely enjoy the kind of hands-on debugging that makes a project come alive. I’ve built similar sensor hubs myself, including a solar-powered environmental monitor that logged data to an MQTT dashboard, so I’m comfortable tracking down those tricky sensor read or communication issues. I can take your existing code, get it running reliably, and make sure your weather station gives you accurate, stable readings without those frustrating crashes or freezes. I’d love to help you get this sorted and see your station working as it should.

Hi, I’d be glad to help with your ESP32 weather station project. I’m a Mechatronics and Robotics engineer with hands-on experience in embedded systems, ESP32 development, Arduino IDE, sensors, and debugging C++ code for microcontroller projects. I understand how frustrating ESP32 compilation issues can become — especially with larger projects that rely on multiple libraries, API changes, display drivers, and version compatibility problems. Many older ESP32 projects no longer compile cleanly because Arduino IDE, ESP32 board packages, and libraries have changed significantly over time. I can help you: • Identify and fix the compilation errors • Install the correct ESP32 board package and library versions • Resolve dependency conflicts • Configure Arduino IDE correctly • Explain the code in simple terms • Help upload and test the firmware on your hardware • Guide you step-by-step so you can understand the process I’ve worked with: • ESP32 + Arduino IDE • TFT/ePaper displays • Weather APIs and WiFi projects • Sensors and IoT systems • C++ debugging and firmware troubleshooting Since you already have the hardware and basic Arduino experience, this should be very manageable once the environment and libraries are corrected properly. I’m patient, communicative, and happy to work with someone still learning. Dyslexia is absolutely not a problem — I can explain everything clearly and practically. Looking forward to helping you get the project running successfully.
