I need a straightforward network-level solution that continuously tracks and reports the error rates on our routers. The end goal is a small dashboard—web-based or locally hosted—that shows real-time and historical error statistics, plus configurable alerts (email or Slack) whenever thresholds are crossed. Scope • Discover and poll the routers through SNMP, NetFlow, or any method you prefer. • Store metrics so I can view trends over hours, days, and weeks. • Build a clean visual panel that highlights error counters, with drill-down if possible. • Set up alert logic: adjustable limits, quiet hours, and basic escalation. Deliverables 1. Working monitoring stack installed in our environment (Docker image, VM, or native—whatever is fastest for you). 2. Documentation: quick install guide, list of dependencies, and how to tweak alert thresholds. 3. Short hand-over call or screen-share to walk me through the dashboard. I’m open to the toolset—Prometheus + Grafana, Zabbix, PRTG, or a lightweight script—as long as it is reliable and easy to maintain. If you think adding bandwidth or uptime in the future is simple, note that in your bid; for now, the immediate priority is error rate visibility on routers.
