Senior Microsoft Purview DLP Engineer Needed

Hiring: Senior Microsoft Purview DLP Engineer (Data Privacy) Location: Kuwait (Hybrid – Onsite + Remote) Experience: 5–10 Years Contract: 12 Months (Extendable) Compensation: Competitive (Based on Experience) About the Role We are looking for a Senior Microsoft Purview DLP Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise data privacy and protection program in a regulated environment. This role involves hands-on implementation, monitoring, and optimization of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions, working closely with Cybersecurity, GRC, and Compliance teams. Key Responsibilities Design and implement Microsoft Purview DLP policies across: Exchange Online (Email) SharePoint & OneDrive Microsoft Teams Endpoints (Windows devices) Perform policy tuning and optimization to reduce false positives Monitor DLP alerts, perform incident triage, and support investigations Implement data classification, sensitivity labeling, and auto-labeling Ensure protection of both: Structured data (databases, applications) Unstructured data (files, emails, endpoints) Collaborate with: Cybersecurity & SOC teams GRC & Compliance teams Support: Privacy impact assessments (DPIA) Regulatory compliance (GDPR / regional laws) Data protection best practices (privacy-by-design) Required Skills Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview (DLP & Information Protection) Experience in Endpoint DLP, Email DLP, and Cloud DLP (M365) Good understanding of: Data classification & labeling Data protection across enterprise environments Experience in incident handling and alert investigation Ability to work in regulated environments (telecom / banking / enterprise) Nice to Have Experience with: Microsoft Sentinel / SIEM tools Insider Risk Management / eDiscovery IAM / Access Governance Knowledge of: GDPR or regional data protection regulations Certifications: Microsoft SC-400 or related security certifications What We’re Looking For Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and in hybrid teams Good communication and stakeholder management Why Join Us Work on a high-impact enterprise security program Exposure to advanced DLP and data privacy technologies Opportunity to grow in cybersecurity and compliance domain
