Image annotation for resarch project

We would like to annotate our images with respect to tram rail tracks. Namely, we would like to place points on the rail tracks. Subsequently, a curve should be fitted to these points (Bezier or spline). This curve should not deviate from the rail track to the surrounding area e.g. asphalt, grass, stone, etc. The coordinates of the annotated points should be saved in an xml file. Each image should have an xml file. Moreover, this xml file should contain an identifier of the frame and identifiers to all possible rail tracks. We do not specify the number of points which determine a rail track but as we mentioned the fitted line should not deviate from the rail track. On the other hand, the fitting method must be the same to all frames so it is not permitted to use „Method1” for the first image and „Method2” for the second image. We attached three sample images.

Please note that the oncoming rail tracks are not annotated in these sample image, in spite of this we require their annotation as well.

To annotate the images the tool to be used not defined, any tool can be used, only the xml

Cooperation process:

1. We would send 2 pictures to be annotated with the required xml format

2. Review of quality of the annotation and xml format

3. If quality okay, we would order the annotation of 1k image

In case of the cooperation satisfying for both side, we are looking long term partners to annotate >50k images, not only for rail lines, but also pixel level annotation of object from the same data set.
