I have a macro-enabled workbook (.xlsm) that already contains the correct column layout and a form-control button; all I need now is the VBA logic behind that button. As soon as it is pressed, every existing row in the target sheet must be wiped clean, after which fresh data is to be pulled from a JSON file that sits in the very same folder as the workbook. The JSON currently holds just two sample records, but the code should work no matter how many records appear later. Everything has to run purely in Excel VBA—no external add-ins, Power Query, or scripting languages. If any JSON keys fail to line up perfectly with my column headers, please map them in the code so the values still land in the right columns. Deliverables • A self-contained VBA procedure assigned to the existing button • Clear in-code comments explaining each step (delete, parse JSON, write to sheet) • A brief note telling me where to drop additional JSON files should the folder ever change Once the macro reliably clears the sheet and reloads data with a single click, the job is done.
