I have 2 excel files that contain data which I need analyzed and merged into a third file. The 1st file contains a list of individual people who have made donations. I would need you to find the top 50 based on largest ever donations (not hard, already done with filter) and then find those same names on file #2. File #2 contains multiple entries for each individual. I need those multiple entries compiled into one entry/row.
Example: In file #1, one of the top 50 donors is John Smith with a largest gift of $5,000. In file #2 there are 5 entries for the same John Smith showing ALL donations, including the $5,000 donation. I would need all of his donations compiled into one row of data, but excluding all duplicate information such as Name, Addres, Phone, ID number, etc.
Final row would consist of generic data (ID, Name, Address, Phone, etc) as well as gift #1 amount, date, etc followed by gift #2 amount, date, etc, gift #3, amount, date, etc. and so on.
This is something very simple that should be able to be done with VBE or a macro. I'm stuck on a Mac version of Office that does not have either of these abilities.
