Method to extract email addresses from an email inbox

I have an email account called bounces (at) mydomain dot com. Every time I send a newsletter to my opt-in mailing list and there is a bounce (i.e. the email address no longer works), a bounce report is sent to this inbox. Now, the inbox has about 500 MB worth of such emails.

I need a system of collecting all these email addresses from this inbox, so I can remove these from my mailing list (to not to waste time and money to try to send my newsletter to these addresses again).

So, your job is to provide me a method, such as a unix script or software, that connects to an email box with e.g. IMAP and produces a list of all the bounced email addresses. The script or software could work, for example like this: download all the emails from the inbox to a local file, parse the file to extract all strings that look like an email address and add these strings to the output file. The output file is a list with all the email addresses in a format of one email per line.
