I have two spreadsheets, one containing a list of all of the audio files that are currently in a large sound effects library that we sell. This sheet I will refer to as the "Master" list. The second spreadsheet contains a list of sound effects that we wish to remove from the master list - I will refer to this as the "Delete" list.
So basically, match the two lists by the "File Name" (Column A in both), and match everything from the "Detele" file to the "Master" file, then delete those rows. It is worth noting that the file names you'll be referencing are formatted a little differently in the two spreadsheets. They have the same basic information, except the file names on the Master sheet contain the characters "DD0," THEN then file name. So on Delete, you'll see "[url removed, login to view]," but on Master you'll see "[url removed, login to view]". Not that crazy.
The end result should be 16,356 rows of data.
This seems pretty simple, I just can't write macros for Excel! I need this done no later than Thursday, March 31.
