We can provide a physical sample to freelancer, if required.
We need a solution that allows us to copy new data into a spreadsheet and run the macro. If special instructions are required to execute or prepare the macro, this is also expected.
Here’s the scoop:
We have a product inventory list whose ‘PRODUCTNO’ and ‘SKU’ are family, so to speak… in other words, they cannot be shuffled, if data were to be sorted, these two columns need to always be a ‘PAIR’, fair enough.
Our distribution center emails us daily, and sometimes weekly inventory data feeds that provide: both, ‘SKU’ and ‘QTY’ data to update our product list via a .csv file. In the inventory we need to add matching SKUs, as they are in different warehouses, but this does not affect what we need out QTY to show.
If the SKU is not in the INVQTYs, we need it to leave the existing quanity in shades.
We need to pair our product list -- to the inventory data feed .csv so that the ‘QTY’ data/columns will flow into our product list. The .csv data feed should reference the ’SKU’ in our Product List, and pair the ‘QTY’ data right beside it.
See Mock Up below: (FIG 1. product list, needs qty data from FIG 2. csv data file, based on matching sku numbers. Important: ‘PRODUCTNO’ assigned to the top skus, must not change.)
We need this macro for daily repetitive use, if this macro can be integrated into an excel spreadsheet, and emailed, that would be great since we will apply in new daily inventory data feeds. Also, we use Mac Office Excel 2008.
