I'm seeking a freelancer who can scrape tax and land ownership records from Brazos County. The project involves writing simple script to calculate specific relationships within the data, which will illustrate a variety of housing market, land use, and zoning issues. This is an update of work done in 2019. A screenshot of the layers created then is attached to provide some sense of the types of maps created. We will be working in QGIS 3.38.3-1.msi. Prefer local Bryan-College Station contractor or freelance TAMU student. Key tasks include: - Calculating market trends and land use distribution - Assessing the percentage of homesteaded properties in each single-family subdivision - Evaluating changes in assessed home and land values from 2019 database - Performing 3-5 additional simple calculations from current data The data scrape should cover the entire Brazos County, and the final output needs to be in CSV format. Ideal skills and experience for this job: - Proficiency in data scraping - Experience with tax and land ownership records - Basic skills in script writing for data analysis - Familiarity with market, land use and zoning assessments - Ability to deliver data in specified format (CSV)
