I recently rolled out new Work Order flows that are running smoothly, yet they surfaced a bigger problem: bad data. My top priority is resolving the incorrect entries and filling the gaps where information is missing so that every automation—old and new—runs on clean, reliable records. Here’s what the assignment looks like: • Audit the objects touched by the new Work Order flows and pinpoint where incorrect or blank fields are breaking reports, approvals, or downstream automations. • Correct the bad values, back-fill missing ones, and put guardrails (validation rules, field-level checks, or simple flows) in place so the issue doesn’t return. • Provide a concise hand-off note explaining what was fixed, where, and why, so my team can maintain the improvements. If you have solid, hands-on Salesforce experience tackling data hygiene projects, tell me about the most similar cleanup you’ve handled and the tools or techniques you used (Data Loader, Workbench, SOQL, Flow Builder, etc.). That practical experience is what will move your proposal to the top of the pile. there have been ongoing issues related to modifying the old workflows. Even though they are outdated flows, the front-end functionality was working smoothly before the updates, and the records were generally clean except for some overdue jobs caused by technical issues in certain territories. We need to be careful when deactivating those backend flows. The past couple of weeks have been quite stressful for me due to the operational pressure and the need to provide explanations to the directors, along with late nights and weekend work. Going forward, we should be more cautious when making changes, especially in Field Service. There’s no turning back once changes are made, so we shouldn’t modify anything without having proper fixes in place. Let’s work together on a better plan for implementing updates—slow and steady is always best. Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll work with him to create a more streamlined process for deactivating old flows and implementing new automations. I’ll also research on the old Process Builder, Workflows, and the newer Flow model in Salesforce. Maybe I’ll build a visual flowchart that how fields, records should update from the backend operations.

Hi, I’ve worked on several Salesforce data cleanup projects—especially where new Flow automations exposed bad or incomplete data in objects like Work Orders and Field Service records. Here’s what I bring to the table: ✅ Auditing Salesforce objects using SOQL & reports to identify incorrect or missing data affecting automations and reporting ✅ Cleaning and repairing records safely using Data Loader, Workbench, and controlled bulk updates ✅ Strong experience with Workflow Rules, Process Builder, and Flow Builder to ensure old automations are handled carefully before deactivation ✅ Implementing validation rules and flow guardrails to prevent bad data from entering again ✅ Clear documentation and automation flow mapping so your team can maintain the improvements I follow a careful approach—audit → sandbox testing → staged updates → documentation, especially important in Field Service where backend changes can impact operations. If you’re looking for someone who can clean the data and stabilize the automation without breaking existing functionality, I’d be glad to help. Let’s connect for a quick 15-min call to see if we’re a fit. Best, Mano

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ✅Hi there, hope you are doing well! I recently completed a Salesforce data hygiene project where I successfully audited and corrected inaccurate record entries, leveraging tools like Data Loader and Flow Builder to seamlessly restore automation workflows. From my experience, the most crucial part of this project is to implement robust validation and guardrails that prevent recurring data quality issues. Approach: ⭕ Conduct a thorough audit of the Work Order flow objects to identify discrepancies. ⭕ Use SOQL queries and Data Loader to correct and backfill missing or incorrect data. ⭕ Design validation rules and simple flows to safeguard data integrity going forward. ⭕ Provide a clear, concise handoff document summarizing all fixes and setup. ⭕ Collaborate closely in planning a cautious, stepwise update process for backend flows. ❓ Could you please share any existing documentation or current flow diagrams? ❓ What are the main fields or objects where data inconsistencies have the biggest impact? ❓ Are there any specific legacy workflows you want to keep active during cleanup? I am confident my Salesforce expertise and methodical approach will help restore data quality and improve automation reliability in your org. Thanks, Nam
