Parsing is where accuracy matters most, so DOCX files get regex pipelines against predictable structure, and PDFs go through a layout-aware pass where field position carries as much meaning as text. Everything writes to SQLite with a confidence score per extracted field, and a simple review UI surfaces low-confidence rows rather than silently pushing guesses into the DB.
