I need every piece of engineering intelligence buried in my legacy P&ID drawings lifted into a clean, structured Excel file. The drawings arrive to you as searchable PDFs, and I will send the exact tag-naming and line-label conventions that must be followed. This is not a simple OCR job. You will have to read the schematics like a process engineer: • identify each piece of equipment, every line number and size, all pressure and temperature design data, motor or HP ratings, valves, PSVs, instruments, local indicators, switches, controls, and the relationships that connect them; • transfer the information into the spreadsheet so that tags, descriptions, operating/design figures and interconnections are all in their correct columns; • confirm that nothing is missed and that the spreadsheet can be sorted or filtered by any field without losing relational context. For the paid trial you will work on a single P&ID. Deliver the completed Excel sheet, flagged with any ambiguities or unreadable portions you encounter. If the extraction is accurate and the formatting matches the conventions I supply, we will continue with the remainder of the drawing set, which is extensive. Excel proficiency, fluency with process P&IDs, an eye for detail, and experience using relevant tools or software to assist in data extraction are essential.

Good day! We have strong experience handling engineering documentation, structured data extraction, and complex Excel deliverables where accuracy and traceability are critical. We understand this requires engineering-level interpretation of P&IDs rather than simple PDF-to-Excel OCR. We can systematically identify equipment, line numbers and sizes, design pressure/temperature data, valves, PSVs, instruments, indicators, switches, controls, motor ratings, and the relationships between connected items. Each element will be mapped into the correct spreadsheet fields while preserving the relational context needed for sorting and filtering. We’ll follow your supplied tag and line-label conventions precisely and perform a detailed cross-check against the drawing to identify omissions, inconsistencies, or ambiguous/unreadable information. Any uncertainty will be clearly flagged rather than guessed. We’re ready to handle the paid trial P&ID with the required attention to engineering detail and move forward with the larger drawing set if the format and accuracy meet your expectations.

You’re asking for more than OCR: process-engineer interpretation of legacy P&ID PDFs into a structured, convention-compliant Excel workbook. I will extract equipment, line numbers/sizes, pressure & temperature design data, motor/HP ratings, valves and PSVs, instruments, local indicators/switches/controls, plus the relationships that connect them, placing each item into the correct spreadsheet columns so sorting/filtering preserves relational context. For the paid trial, I’ll complete a single P&ID end-to-end, then deliver the finished Excel with clear flags for any ambiguities, missing detail, or unreadable portions encountered. Because you’ll provide the exact tag-naming and line-label conventions, the output will match your formatting requirements from the start, ensuring a smooth continuation across the extensive drawing set.
