email marketing/ data entry

My wife worked as a buyer and then Divisional Merchandise manager for many years for Century 21 Department Stores. She left there in Feb of last year and joined a small company as a regional sales rep for 15-20 different product lines. Basically she is a sales rep responsible for all of New Jersey and there are at least 500 current customers. In order to be more effective she needs to develop a much stronger email communication network with her customers to get them interested in her and her products. She does spend some time actually visiting larger customers/stores but of course that business model is, by definition, limiting. There are many, many different customer groupings that she needs to identify and communicate with so that a potential customer is getting targeted with emails from her but are also targeted to what that specific customer or group of customers are likely interested in..... The goal is to find a helper who has the skills to assist her in making that happen with the larger goal of creating a business atmosphere whereby her customers come to her, vial email and on line order placing, in addition to the business that she is able to generate with the more traditional methods that have been in place forever. My preference is to try to locate someone geographically close to where we live as there may be a need to meet in person on occasion. We live in central New Jersey.
