INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Need to a UserForm that integrates the QC and SOP checklists I made in an Excel sheet. This should be an interactive so that employees can click a box & it will assign a certain value. Everyone will store with a score of 100 and if I select NO, it deducts point. 2. The checklists will collect data on several different workboos automatically & the checklists should be able to be used over and over again without the data being erased. 3. RIght now, I created several functions and relationships between certain excel sheets but I'm having trouble automating it all using Macro/VBA so that a score can be input in one locaion and it will automatically input that score in all other locations that will then calculate a final score. 3. These inspections are based on a 2-week period. 4. I also need a tool that will objectively randomize employee IDs, Names, and applicable Scores in small groups, all at once. In other words: if I have 200 total employees that are borken down into groups of 15, which are assigned to a specific Manager, I want to be able to randomize all 200 people at once but still attach them only to the manager they belong to. The same associates will be inspected by the same Manager each 2 weeks, but when they'll be inspected will vary on the randomizaiton. 5. I used the =RAND() function to randomize 200 people but then I realized that I would not be able to identify which employee belongs to which Manager. Once randomization is done, their names should be automatically populated onto an individual schedule hey work in. For this purpose of this project, I used fake names and employee ID #s. 6. This database/program will be used by warehouse managers, and the data has to be collected to run metrics from and be used for training purposes. 7. On the "Quality and Safety Checklist" excel, I have built the 2 checklists we will be using and the simulated calculation. The data input in the Quality and SOP checklist should populate in the calculations sheet and based on that, populate on the Final Score workbook every other Sunday as the final report. 8. The problem I have is that in excel, I do not know how to make the checklist stand-alone, in other words, link the score for each checklist to a specific employee ID and store that data on a seperate check. Then, I want to be able to refresh the checklist to use on a new employee, without erasing the data that was collected for the previous employee. 9. Is there a way to build a database in excel to where the same checklist sheet can be used over and over, but each data entry can be saved for an individual employee without the previous data deleted? I'm not too familiar with Access and know that excel is more user friendly with its broad functions. Please ask me for clarification as I know it can be diffiuclt to understand at works. Ideally, there will be ONE final score sheet that I can upload into our database or provide to management, and the other sheets will work systematically in the background.

Dear sir, Greetings. The features that you are trying to implement within Excel, won't give you.(Or compromise with some limitation) I would suggest you to use MS Access which is easy as well and give you extra control over the data. It would great if i have the file what you have created so far. Thank you.

This sounds like a complex spreadsheet. I didn't see the Excel file so I couldn't review the file. Here is how I typically approach a projects of this nature. 1) Understand how the file is currently working. 2) Understand the changes requested 3) Sketch out some approaches, and start to build the basic framework. 4) Review my understanding with the customer to make sure I am aligned. 5) Finish the framework and start on the cosmetics. In reading through the project description, you sound like you might be open to using a Access database. What are the maintenance requirements going forward? Would there be someone available to make updates (in Excel or Access)? I like Access for the user interface, but I can create buttons in Excel if you are more comfortable. In terms of storing on inspections scores, I'm thinking of storing them in another tab in the spreadsheet. If that isn't feasible, I could save them to a separate file as well. Sounds like an interesting project and I look forward to working with you.

Hello, I understand the kind of project that you want to implement therefore after reading the requirements I would like to propose some simple solutions that I used before. SOLUTION1: The project will be splited in 2 types of workbooks: MasterForm and ChildForm. The child forms will contain the checklists to be completed by the people and will act as temporary databases. Each ChildForm will be imported in the MasterForm in order to gather all the data in one big database that will be used for reporting. SOLUTION2: The same Master and Child structure but now the child will have a Submit button that will create a copy of the checklist in a specific location on the network. From that location the MasterForm will be updated each time the file is opened using events triggers. We will establish all the details regarding the graphic interface and user experience together. This is just a proposal but for sure we can optimize exactly for your needs. I consider myself suited for this job following my 3+ years of experience in developing VB6 and VBA solutions for important clients while working in a multinational company. I am very experienced in VBA. I am an Access programmer and I have written automation projects in Word, Project and Excel. I have Microsoft Office 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2007 installed. The solution would also work in later versions. From your description, you have some criteria for evaluation which when selected will calculate a score to be recorded against the person being evaluated. The selection of who will evaluate each person is to be randomized as well as the time that they will be evaluated. The evaluation scores are to be reportable for upload into some other system. Your budget of $250 is too low in my opinion to attract someone with the right skills and will encourage them to do a "quick and dirty" solution. I will develop using good coding techniques and the source code will be unlocked for you to maintain going forward.

Hi there My name is Ruben Ferreira. I am a Chartered Accountant (SA) and am considered by my peers to be a bits of a Excel and VBA expert. I would like the opportunity to take this project on - you give a lot of detail and would seem like a fun project to undertake. I am quoting $143 (+ Freelancers 10%) = $158 which is essential ZAR2000 being a full days work for me. I can have the project done by in 7 days. If you need the project completed sooner I would charge an additional $50 for each day less (So $208 in 6 days, $258 in 5 days etc). The soonest I could possibly have this completed is 3 days if those days are over a weekend for $358. I break the project into 9 milestones which are essentially your 9 points in your post. Hope it all meets your approval
