The Data Entry Specialist, with supervision from the Director of CREEP, will be responsible for providing office management services to the Center and helping build evaluation capacity by providing detailed data analysis and maintenance of databases.
This position will be devoted to providing overall administrative and office support for multiple supervisors, as well as data entry services as part of the research and evaluation team within CREEP.
Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for:
Performing data entry of information to maintain database(s) through custom software and paper applications; responsible for accuracy, efficiency and retrieval of processed data; proofs material entered as required and generates data reports as required.
Performing data entry using word processing, spreadsheets or database commands and formats material as required; preparing graphic exhibits using software for presentations and agendas.
Creating data directories/subdirectories for file and report generation retrieval purposes; maintaining paper and/or disk file of entered data; files and retrieves appropriate paper applications.
Reviewing discrepancies in data received; requests clarification or advises supervisor of issues related to data and performs data verification routines in accordance with organizational procedures.
Interacting with departmental and other team members on matters affecting data and business operations flow and makes recommendations for improvement or enhancement to job processes to ensure standards in data entry, collection and retrieval.
