I am looking to have a custom money tracker workbook designed for me in Microsoft Excel.
This will not be a budgeting workbook as I am not interested in tracking my spending. It will more be a money allocation tool which will allow me to track how much money I have and where I move it to towards a goal.
I have tried tools like Tiller Money, YNAB and Every Dollar but there is just not a full match between the way these tools work and the way my brain works although Every Dollar gets closest, but there is still a functionality gap.
I want to be able to visually represent how much money I have and where I move it to towards a goal. For example If I have If I Have 20.00 dollars Across all my bank accounts and I create a sub savings account and I move 5 dollars to it. In the workbook I should be able to see that I have 20.00 and then I should be able to create a new goal and then move 5 dollars to that goal.
I should be able to create and delete goals with the click of a button as well as modify allocations on the fly. I will handle to actual moving of the money in my bank accounts. I want to see in visual real time where I have things allocated.
Again this is not a budgeting spreadsheet per say, I don't care about well I need to put 5 towards my cell phone or 10 towards my groceries. The daily spending doesn't matter to me, I am trying to track long term goals such as buying a house or I put 100.00 into little johnny inheritance etc.
