Do some Excel Work

Name the Workbook “Excel Project_Your Name” and the Worksheet “Excel Project”

Color the worksheet tabs (any color)

Create the items as shown on the sample spreadsheet

Use the title style for the titles

Format the background cells for all areas similar to what is used - Cell Styles

Create the Car Loan Area

Enter the data as given in the sample

Use formulas to determine the monthly payment, total interest, total cost and loan amount –< /i> formulas given in the PowerPoint lesson

Insert the current date (use function for exact date to update automatically)

Input a data validation for the number of years to between 4 and 6. Use this as the error message – “ Loan must be between 4 and 6 years”< /font>

“Name” the cells for all cells (this is more than simply typing the names in the cells—“ Naming a cell” is specifically discussed in the PPT lesson posted)

Create an Interest Rate Schedule table as shown in the sample and discussed in the PPT

Use formulas to copy the data for monthly payment, total interest and total cost to the Interest Rate Schedule table

Use “ What-If” Analysis to determine an Interest Rate table

Enter the percentages for everything above [url removed, login to view]% by using the fill handle

Use conditional formatting to change the formatting of all cells containing the monthly payment – make their formatting appear differently as shown in the example

Create the Grade table as shown in the sample

Format accordingly using Cell Styles and add filters so it can be sorted

Create the Criteria table

Use the DAverage and CountIF formulas to answer the questions given. Formulas must be used to calculate this data.

Name each range (I.E. Car Loan, Interest Rate Schedule, Grades, etc.)

Insert a header with “ITEC 3000: Microsoft Excel Project” as the title – Bold, 12 point font – in the center; your name at the right

Insert a footer with the Date -use the formula in the custom footer to do this

Set print area to print only certain sections (I.E. Car Loan, Interest Rate Schedule, Grades)
