I want to give everyday investors an at-a-glance way to understand a stock’s implied volatility, presented in a clean, intuitive chart they can explore from any device. You’ll build a web-based visual that plots IV over user-selectable timeframes and renders smoothly on both desktop and mobile. Responsive line or candlestick style is fine—as long as it loads quickly and makes trend shifts obvious. Key elements I need: • A modern JavaScript charting library such as D3.js, [login to view URL], Highcharts, or TradingView. • Ability to pull fresh IV data through an established API (please suggest one if you have a favorite). • Simple controls to change date range (e.g., 1 m, 3 m, 6 m, YTD) and hover tooltips that surface exact IV values and date. • Clear axis labeling and a minimalist color palette that feels approachable to retail investors. • Lightweight documentation so I can drop the finished component into an existing React page without guesswork. I will provide API keys (or CSV snapshots if that’s easier). You handle the front-end code, basic styling, and data hookup. Once you’re done, a quick screen recording showing the chart in action is all I need to sign off.
