Hi how's it going? I noticed that you're online so i figured i'd message you.
I'd like to build a mobile app for my video project. I want to build or use a video player(maybe html5?) that plays chapters (no controls visible to the user). The player would need to be hidden from the user and preload the previous and next video chapter into memory so there isn't any large moments of lag between chapters
The video player would play a playlist of prerendered video files.
The video player would need to be able to pause at the end of the "chapter" to display the last frame. The user would use gestures on the touch screen(swipe up and down) to proceed to the next chapter or previous chapter.
I have audio too so that needs to be synced. There's SFX that would not render on mobile devices as well. That's why i'm in need of a video player opposed to having the mobile device render the files. I saw that corona (corona cards) has a overlay system that could allow the user to interact with any built app, like a video player without the user knowing it was a video. (Gesture up and down to navigate through the chapters)
The menu will consist of a wall with picture frames that can be navigated by left and right swipe gestures. Within the picture frames are in-app purchasable content(video files). Once the app purchase is made, the content is downloaded and then the user clicks the frame that would open the hidden video player which would then play that folders content.
I thought it would be cool to get a neat parallax effect within the picture frame so it feels like there's depth with it.
Thanks for your time.
P.S. could you give me an estimate to complete this? I can add the content myself. Also if we could use a free program opposed to a monthly subscription, that would be ideal since i'm on doing this project on a micro budget. Thanks!
