Hay scanning system

Our project it to program a hay inspection station. it will take a picture that must be analysed then will notify the mechanism to accept or reject the bale. Using an SDK supplied from ICI (IR camera) as well as integration of Ethernet/IP (not yet determined LIB) for communications with a plc. The ICI SDK compiles in VS C++ with MFC. The purpose of the application ,is to determine in an automated fashion ,any area in the target that is out of range of the overall average. You can see from the included pictures, how IR highlights different moisture content, the size and locations would very greatly. The automaton is as follows: PLC determines when to start test. Communicated through Ethernet/IP If Apps determines bale should be rejected , returned to plc by Ethernet/IP If Apps determines bale is OK , returned to plc by Ethernet/IP these could both be a bit of the same byte Exposure of size and deviation variables would be important for possible modification Multithreading might be necessary as analysis needs to be under 8sec. Programing requirements: All objects need to have meaningful names. All necessary modules supplied in ready to compile condition.
