Customise existing web browser

Budget $250-750 USD

Job Description:

The task is to fix the lack of JS support in our custom web browser... without breaking anything else.

The main problem is that VideoJS no longer plays in our browser due to the latest changes in VideoJS. Consequently Vimeo videos no longer play either because it seems to use VideoJS of late. It is JavaScript support that needs to be updated.

Our own web browser does not provide dev tools, error console or view-page-source, so it will be useless for debugging. However we can provide the source for the browser that we forked from which will be identical in all relevant aspects.

We will provide the original source that we used for our browser, with build instructions and a ready compiled binary for initial testing. Note that we want to add new JS support to the source that we provide... simply merging with a later version is not an option because it does not provide what we need to add to our real source.

Previous experience customising and building Mozilla web browsers is a must (not just add-ons).
