We would like to expand our exporting plug-in to also handle importing of the same file structure. This would also include UV Mapping.
Importer can be stand-alone and does not need to be attached or built into anything.
The exporter plugin is based on the quake 3 engine but has been customized. Quake engine knowledge might be good to have.

In the near future we also want to convert our Bipedexporter to importer.
I had a quick look at the exporter. If selected, in about 10 days the importer will be completed and about four days we will try different model to make sure it is bug free. Best, Lilac
