We are looking for an insightful Course Content Manager to lead the Course Content Management team by ensuring that our courses are in line with our company mission which is “To empower people to reach their full potential in their careers through our affordable digital subscription eLearning service: All Access Pass”, and making sure we publish high caliber quality courses.
Our ideal candidate is academically inclined, scholarly, and well-read.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the relevance of the courses.
Able to come up with strategies and direction that will improve the course content
Work on developing and improving curricula and instruction, and assess its effectiveness.
Evaluate the existing curricula and assess the quality of instruction.
Study necessary paths to degree attainment, depending on the discipline and educational level.
Present and make recommendations regarding course design, technology, and instruction delivery options.
Interview subject matter experts or conduct other research to develop instructional content.
Stay informed of trends in instructional methods and educational technology.
Analyze student/subscriber data to assess and improve the site’s implementation and evaluation of the course material.
Conduct research and find appropriate courses and curricula in order to improve the learning outcome of the students/subscribers.
Assess effectiveness and efficiency of instruction according to ease of instructional technology use and student learning, knowledge transfer, and satisfaction
Look for new instructors and courses and communicate with instructors
Vet, upload, and publish courses
Ensure quality of courses and keep the courses up to date
Job Qualifications:
Proven work experience in course creation, course management, and course development for multiple types of courses
Experience in Lead Generation, Course Uploading, and Publishing
Excellent communication and written skills
Proficiency in tools such as WPLMS, Reed, Gmass, Jira, Vimeo, Canva, Dropbox, and Google Drive is a plus
University professor or counselor who has experience in building the career path for students is a huge plus
Nice to have:
Hands-on experience uploading courses using different tools/platform
Experience in uploading/publishing his/her own course(s) online
