A UK qualified solicitor has drafted an approx. 150 page guide to claimant employment law (the “Guide”). The Guide includes a brief synopsis of employment law, practical guide to the Tribunal and example witness statements, letters and statements of claim amongst other things.
The purpose of the Guide is to assist individual claimants acting as litigants in person in the English employment tribunals. The Guide will be available online through a specific website and claimants will act in reliance on the Guide, it is essential it is accurate.
You must be either (i) a UK solicitor specialising in employment law (ii) a UK barrister specialising in employment law and / or (iii) an Oxbridge jurisprudence / law graduate with a particular interest in and understanding of employment law. If you have experience of editing that would be a real bonus – published authors to the front of the queue.
The successful applicant is welcome to an editing credit though it is by no means a requirement. Discretion can be assured and the work white labelled.
The Guide is drafted. It requires a fresh set of eyes to finesse the text, check and double check the facts provided, to correct any errors and to provide additional clarificatory / finessing drafting. Criticism is welcome. A critical and enquiring mind is essential. A total edit job is required and the end result of the project is a Guide which can be published without further amendment.
A six week turnaround is desirable but we can be flexible. Further details available on receipt of CV in confidence.
The figure is given as a guide only, we require quality and for the right person more is available.
