I am looking for a VA to assist my business. I am the Director of Marketing for an Energy Services company (ESCO) based out of California. We provide a broad range of comprehensive energy solutions including designs and implementation of energy savings and energy conservation projects for commercial/industrial/retail property owners across the state of California.
I am looking for an assistant to help with our marketing efforts and day-to-day administrative tasks. My assistant needs to well versed in:
- Data Mining: You must be an experienced researcher and data miner. We are constantly building new contact lists, researching competitors, and new opportunities within the industry. Ability to deliver requested information in an organized and timely manner is a must.
- SEO: A large part of the job will be helping us in our search engine optimization efforts. Experience in this field is a huge plus. This will include article submissions, link building, traffic generation, etc. All efforts must be organic and not through spam software.
- Copywriting: You must be able to assist us in creating content for our website, blogging, writing industry related articles, re-writing existing articles, writing press releases, and submitting press releases.
- Social Networking/Bookmarking: You'll need to have experience maintaining social networking/bookmarking sites, making updates, building contacts, etc.
- Administrative Tasks: Help keep track of meetings, campaigns, and various organizational tasks.
- Web design/Graphic Design Experience is a major plus. We are constantly making new marketing materials including flyers, one-sheets, brochures, etc. so if you are capable of assisting with these designs that is a huge plus, includes maintaining wordpress blogs.
- Resourceful: If you have a lot of connections with marketing companies, contact lists, graphic designers, etc. that is a great benefit because we'll constantly be needing useful resources for improving our services and marketing efforts.
- Experience in the Energy or Energy Services industry is a huge plus.
1. Must be available 20 hours per week (4 hours per day, 5 days a week)
