Technical SEO Specialist for E-Commerce (PrestaShop)

Project Description We are looking for a Technical SEO specialist with proven experience in e-commerce projects and preferably PrestaShop, to help us optimize our website and ensure maximum visibility and performance in search engines. The goal is to identify and resolve technical SEO issues affecting crawling, indexing, and site structure, as well as to establish best practices for long-term SEO health. Key Responsibilities • Conduct a full technical SEO audit (site architecture, speed, indexing, internal linking, sitemap, [login to view URL], canonicals, etc.). • Identify and fix issues with 3XX/4XX redirects, orphan pages, and duplicate/cannibalized content. • Optimize XML sitemaps and robots.txt. • Review and improve meta tags, headings, and structured data where necessary. • Analyze and propose improvements to the category and product structure to maximize organic visibility. • Coordinate with our team to implement recommended solutions. • Provide a detailed report with actions taken and recommendations for ongoing SEO maintenance. Requirements • Demonstrated experience in Technical SEO for e-commerce. • Strong knowledge of PrestaShop (or similar platforms such as Magento, WooCommerce, Shopify). • Previous hands-on experience with sitemaps, indexing, and crawl budget optimization. • Ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly and in a structured way. • Proficiency with SEO tools such as SE Ranking, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, etc. Nice to Have • Experience with projects in healthcare, orthopedics, or retail. • Ability to support our team with a maintenance and follow-up plan after the initial phase. • Knowledge of Core Web Vitals and site speed optimization.
