TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
I currently have a web site called www.sosocial.com. This site will be going away after the first of the year and I need some modifications to the existing site.
A good friend of mine who is a Cold Fusion programmer built a new module to the existing site to accept credit cards via secure.sosocial.com.
On this credit card module, there is a credit card acceptance module that has a "promotion code" box, but it is not active or working.
Because my friend is too busy with his full time job, he asked me to post this request here on getafreelancer.com.
I need a programmer to set up the "promotion code" section on the credit card collection to allow 50 promotion codes that would offer a discount amount based on the code and show in the MySQL database who the "promotion code" relates to.
I will supply the promotion codes via Excel spreadsheet. Each code will be assigned a discount amount and be tagged to a specific advertising campaign.
For example: If the promotion code is GZ9C33 and it relates to a certain advertising campaign and offers a $5.00 off discount, that it shows up in the MySQL database and offers the registrants / attendees the discount for the total number of registrants that are chosen.
To get a better idea of where this credit card module is located, please click on [url removed, login to view];eid=175 and scroll to the bottom and click the link that says, "CLICK HERE TO PRE-REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT".
This will open up the [url removed, login to view] credit card module where you will see the "promotion code" box. As you can see, there is a drop down box for quantity. At the top of this section, you can see the date, time and location with the price of $29.00.
If someone put in a "promotion code" of GZ9C33 and there is a $5.00 off discount, it would carry all the way through the rest of the process.
I hope I've explained this enough.
